Westchester County, New York Deed Abstracts Available!

Hello researchers!

Picking up from my first published book to focus outside of Grayson County, Virginia (which were the abstracts of the deeds for Albany County, New York from 1774-1797), my latest book deals with the deed abstracts for Westchester County, New York, spanning 1774 to 1801. Four libers of deed records are published; additionally, one liber (Liber C) of the county’s mortgage books has also been abstracted, spanning the years 1774-1787. The book also includes abstracts of the surviving transcripts of the March 1779 tax lists for the various districts and towns of Westchester County (useful for residency and also Revolutionary War services — supply tax).  It concludes with a large full-name, soundex-based index.

At 798 pages, it is officially my longest book, though some pending publications certainly have that number in the running! The book is now available at Amazon at this link.

Until then, happy researching!
